Fried Green Tomatoes

Flour

Cornmeal

Salt

Large Green Tomatoes
cut into 1/2 inch slices
1/2
cup
Vegetable Oil
Instructions
Mix flour, cornmeal, salt & pepper in shallow dish.
Coat tomatoes with flour mixture.
Heat oil in skillet over high heat until hot.
Saute tomatoes in hot oil just until brown on both sides; reduce heat.
Cook, covered until tender; drain.
Serve immediately
